| Packaging:
All of our coffee is packed in Full One Pound Bags and also available in Half Pound or Quarter Pound bags
All of our coffees (even the Half Pounders) are packed in a heavy metallized vinyl bags with a one way breather valve and resealing tape. If stored properly, this will keep your coffee fresher than almost any other packaging.
Storage:
I have heard most of the suggestions on 'how to store coffee' and have done a lot of experimentation myself, so, here's my take-------
For daily use, I recommend storing your fresh coffee in a cool dry place and sealed with the reseal tape. I Love the smell of coffee, but remember if you can smell it (except through the one way valve) it's losing flavor.
If you need to store coffee in the refrigerator or the freezer--- once you take it out don't put it back in again.
Rule of Thumb: Oxygen and Heat are the enemies of stored coffee!
Grind Type:
When selecting the 'Grind Type' you should match the type of brewing equipment you will be using. I always recommend an investment in a burr grinder and buying whole bean when possible.
